Moon

2025 Black or Smoky Black TWHBEA Filly

For Sale: $3,500

Moon is a flashy little filly! She has two near matching hind socks, a faded crescent moon star, and snip. She was also born on a full moon, hence the name. Moon was born with very long legs and is already overstriding over 1' at a few days old. I believe she would make someone an amazing flatshod show horse, as well as a great versatility and trail mount.

Moon is black, however she could potentially be carrying a cream gene from her sire. In her older pictures she is fading in the Oklahoma sun, but her mom did the same thing at 2 months old and she sheds out black as night every year. Mom is also faded right now between the sun and giving all her nutrition to Moon.

She comes from an extremely long line of versatility royalty with 2 TWHBEA Versatility Champions in her lineage, among many many other titles. Her dam's side is from a 50 year old breeding program for family friendly versatility horses. Her dam has over 19 TWHBEA Versatility points and her granddam has 39 TWHBEA Versatility Points. Her sire, The Oklahoma Drifter, is a 2019 Smoky Black TWHBEA Stallion. His dam is a nationally famous mare named MG Gold by World Grand Champion Gen's Major General. MG Gold is a half sister to Jose Jose who has been a leading sire in the industry for more than a decade.

Lynette Todd, breeder of The Oklahoma Drifter, says that, "the Carbon line has put out some of the smartest best minded horses I have seen." She says that Biloxi Carbon Blues and MG Gold were as "Solid and steady as you can get." When Carbon was shipped from Tennesee the shipper and boarding farm told her to get him checked, because he was so mild mannered there was no way he was a stallion.

Moon is available for $5000.
